The ISIS EvolutionZ technology is a fundamental break-through in OLAP.  Current OLAP technology typically suffers from cube "rigidity" and data "explosion" which fundamentally limits what can be analyzed and the mathematics that can internally be brought to bear on data.  EvolutionZ technology from ISIS over-comes these severe OLAP restrictions and enables virtually on-the-fly modifications to its database and unlimited dimensionally (the ability to segment data) without database explosion.

As presented on the figure below, EvolutionZ has a universal flat file interface permitting the loading of data from any source then a revolutionary database that is immune to the database explosion of OLAP, a statistical computation engine and a dimensional engine for nearly unlimited dimensionality.  This technology is the platform of its user interface that provides the broadest range of capabilities in a single integrated environment.

The web expression of ISIS is through the WebReporter™ that enables users the power of Discovery; i.e. the ability of a user to follow an un-broken string of questions in the context of the moment.  Unlike Business Intelligence tools and spreadsheets that provide reports to answer specified questions, the WebReporter guides users to ask the questions they have heretofore not thought to ask.

The WebReporter is built about the concepts of a Knowledge Site, Topic and Question.  Each Knowledge Site has "Topics" which in turn contains "Questions" and every Question has an associated report.  In this manner, stored reports are elegantly accessed through simple English descriptions.  Once in a Question, users can further create reports on-the-fly by engaging "Row" and "Column" selections.  Rows are the data elements in the Knowledge Site and Columns are about time and statistics.  As such, reports are dynamically created throughout a virtually unlimited number of dimensions by a a point-and-click.  A typical Knowledge Site will have over 1 billion report and graph combinations all available with no programming, mo knowledge of mathematics, no database knowledge and no IT support!
